Who we are

What the booking form collects
- Your name, mobile number and email address
- The services you selected, and the day and time of day you prefer
- Your car: make, model, year, and the registration and odometer reading if you choose to give them
- Anything you write in the notes field
- A one-way hash of your IP address, used only to stop the form being abused. It cannot be turned back into an address.
We ask for the registration and odometer because they decide which logbook interval is due. Both are optional. We do not ask for your home address and we never take payment details through this website.
Why we collect it
To contact you about the booking, to confirm a day, to quote the right job for your car, and to keep a service record for work we have done. That is all. We do not sell it, we do not rent it, and we do not use it for marketing unless you have asked us to.
Who else handles it
- Convex stores the booking. It is our database provider and acts on our instructions only.
- Resend sends the two emails: the copy to the workshop and your confirmation. It is our email provider and acts on our instructions only.
- Vercel hosts this website and records anonymous page analytics. It does not receive the contents of the form.
Each of these providers may store or process data outside Australia. We use them because they are appropriate for the job, not because they are cheap.
Cookies
This website sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Your theme choice is kept in your own browser and never reaches us. The analytics we use do not profile you across other websites.
How long we keep it
Booking enquiries that do not turn into work are removed after twelve months. Where we have serviced your car, we keep the service record for as long as it is useful to you and to us, because that record is what proves the logbook was followed.
Seeing it, correcting it, deleting it
Ask us and we will tell you what we hold, correct anything wrong, or delete it where we are not required to keep it. Call 0451 109 786 or raise it when you are next in. If you are not happy with how we have handled it, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner takes complaints.
Changes
If this notice changes, the new version goes up on this page. Booking requests are always handled under the version that was published when you sent them.
