Car service in Reservoir
AutoworkX is on Newlands Road in Coburg North, a run south west out of Reservoir. Tyres and puncture repair, suspension and steering, logbook servicing and brakes, on every make we see.

Past Edwardes Lake and you are pointed the right way
Reservoir sits north east of us on the far side of Merri Creek. The plain run is south to Bell Street and then west across the creek into Coburg, with Newlands Road a few streets north of Bell Street. If your day already takes you down past the lake, we are barely off the line you were driving anyway.
A clunk over a speed hump is a suspension job
Suspension and steering work comes in from this side often. Shocks, bushes and ball joints wear quietly, and the first sign is usually that clunk, or a car that wanders instead of holding a line. We load each corner on the hoist and show you which joint has the play in it before anything is ordered.
Tyres go with it. Wear that is heavier on one edge than the other is rarely the tyre's fault, it is telling you about the geometry or a worn part underneath. We supply, fit and balance tyres here, and we read the old tread before selling you a new set.
Nothing is replaced on a guess
The car goes up, we load the front and the rear and check every joint for movement, then you get a price for the parts that failed the check rather than for the whole end of the car. If one side has gone, we say so, though shocks and struts are normally done in pairs so the car sits and steers evenly.
Suspension work is not a wait in the lounge
A tyre fit or a puncture repair can be short enough to sit out. Suspension work usually is not, because the parts have to be right and it is not a job worth rushing. Ask when you book which of the two you are in for, and if the car has to be back for a particular reason, tell us then rather than on the day.
